Mother's Day

Mother’s Day is a happiest and highly memorable day of the year for every kids, children and students. Mother’s day is a special day of the year which has been dedicated for all mothers of the India. Mother’s Day is celebrated every year on second Sunday in the month of the May. This year in 2015, it would be celebrated on 10th of May (second Sunday) with lots of joy and happiness. Kids become very happy at this day and celebrate in front of their mothers at home or in school in order to honor their mothers.

Mothers Day is a day when every child celebrates it especially for their mothers. It is celebrated annually as an important event of the year on second Sunday of the May month. Now-a-days, it has been a trend to celebrate mother’s day in the schools in the presence of their kids. Mother gets greeting cards, wishing cards or other special gifts by their kids. At this day, family members go outside to have some delicious dinner and get more enjoy. Mothers also give some gifts and lots of love and care to their kids.

Mother’s day is a very special day of the year for both kids and mother. It is being celebrated since many years every year on the second Sunday of the month of May in India. It is celebrated by the teachers and students in the schools by inviting mothers. Students take part in many cultural activities to impress their mothers. Mothers are especially invited to school by their kids on the order of school Principal and teachers. At this day mothers are given lots of gifts, love and respects by their kids

Dashain Experience

Dashain is the longest and the most important festival of Nepal. Generally Dashain falls in late September to mid October, right after the monsoon season in Nepal. Dashain gets many different nick names as Dasara, Bada Dashain, Vijaya Dashain, Durga Puja, all of which mean the same thing, Dashain, a day of Victory over Demons.

According to the legend, the bloodthirsty Goddess, Durga conquered evils on the Dashain day. Huge amount of animal sacrifices take place during the festival in temples and in home to please the Goddess Durga. Some people may take such animal sacrifices negatively but they might forget how they came by their meat on their plate!The final day of the festival is known as `Tika’, a day on which the elder ones give `Tika’ to the younger ones and to other relatives who come for their blessings.

I celebrated Dashain with lots of fun. I didnt go to my village this time. My family decided to celebrate here this year. I enjoyed preety much.
First, our parents put tika on our forhead of all of my siblings starting with my eldest sis. Then after we were done in our home we went to our relatives
home.A lot of our relatives had gathered in the same place. Then my Gramps and Grandma put tika on my Parents.

Then my siblings after tika we drank some cold drinks and ate some food. All of my relatives were enjoying there while me and my brother went for a walk. We saw a swing on the way. We played for a while and returned to our Relatives home, Enjoyed there till night and returned home at 7pm.
